The Trident Trail Races : July 25-26, 2026, Jupiter, FL
The Trident Trail Races are held at Jupiter Ridge Natural Area in Jupiter, Florida. The course runs on ancient sugar sand dunes and coastal scrub on a 271-acre preserve. The terrain is soft white sand with rolling sections and short steep climbs. The highest natural point on the course is about 44 feet above sea level. Organizers note high heat and humidity in late July and advise heat preparation. Medical staff and aid stations with ice, water, chilled fruit, and fuel are provided.
Race formats and key rules
- 102 miles - Ciento Dos: 31 loops, 36-hour cutoff, qualifiers required.
- 80 miles - Immolation: 24-hour elimination format, one 3.3-mile loop per hour.
- 13.2 miles - The Nooner half: four 3.3-mile loops, strict 4-hour cutoff.
- 13.2 miles - Twilight Trident: night half, four loops, 4-hour cutoff.
- 3.3–33 miles - A Series of Unfortunate 5Ks: repeat 3.3-mile loops up to 10 loops (33 miles), 10-hour limit, official finishes at 3.3 miles and 33 miles; half-marathon finish recorded at four loops.
Qualifying race results within the last 18 months are required for the two longest events; acceptable efforts and distances are specified by the organizer. Ciento Dos may be run with or without a crew; crew can set up near the start. Refunds and deferrals have deadlines: full refund minus entry fee until March 1, 2026, and full deferral until July 23, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
