The Trail Trot Cross Country 5K and Kid's Fun Run
The event is the third annual Trail Trot hosted by the Crawford County Recreation Center on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Crawford County Recreation Center, 11220 State Highway 1, Robinson, IL 62454. The main event is a 3.1 mile cross country 5K that takes place on the Lincoln Trail College campus.
The 5K course winds through campus and uses a mix of terrain. The majority of the route is on grass, with a dedicated section on paved pathways that run around the pond and wooded areas.
A separate Kid's Fun Run covers a single lap on the paved pathways around the pond. All participants in the Kid's Fun Run receive a finisher medal.
Registration for each event opened on January 4, 2026 and closes on May 29, 2026. Published entry fees are $35.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kid's Fun Run. Race day packet pickup and late registration are available with a $45 cash or check only fee. To guarantee an official race t shirt, registration must be completed by May 10, 2026.
