The Trail Trot Cross Country 5K

The Trail Trot Cross Country 5K and Kid's Fun Run

The event includes a cross country 5K and a separate Kid's Fun Run held on the Crawford County Recreation Center course at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Illinois. The Trail Trot Cross Country 5K covers 3.1 miles and follows a course that winds through the college campus. Most of the 5K is run on grass and a smaller portion uses paved pathways around the pond and through the woods on campus.

The Kid's Fun Run is 1 mile and takes place on paved pathways around the pond and through the woods on the Lincoln Trail College campus. Children who complete the Kid's Fun Run receive a finisher medal and T shirt.

Awards include prizes for the top male and top female overall finishers and medals for first place in each age group. Age groups specified for awards include 17 and under, 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, and 65 and over.

Race day packet pickup and late registration are available at the Crawford County Recreation Center. Late registration carries a $30 fee payable by cash or check only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
