The Telford T50 Trail Run

The Telford T50 Trail Run is a long-distance event that follows the Telford T50 pathway through Shropshire. The course takes participants through various historical and geographical landmarks, including the world-famous Ironbridge, the heights of the Wrekin, and several former industrial areas.

The event includes the following distance:

The route is pre-marked and features a mix of terrains including hills, flat sections, road, and trails. Due to the nature of the course, trail shoes are recommended. There are four checkpoints along the route provided with food, drinks, and cake. A cut-off time is in place at 9PM.

Participants are required to carry a mandatory kit for the duration of the event. This kit includes a waterproof jacket, a rucksack with a hydration bladder, a fully charged mobile phone, an energy bar, and a basic first aid kit. Race headquarters are located at the Unicorn Inn in Little Dawley, Telford. All finishers receive a commemorative medal. The event is open to individuals aged 18 and over.
