The Telford T50 Trail Run

The Telford T50 Trail Run is a 50 miles trail event presented as a new 2026 route that follows much of the Telford T50 pathway. The course passes notable local sites, including Ironbridge and the Wrekin, and moves through former industrial areas around Telford. The route is pre-marked and runs across varied terrain with trails, climbs and sections of road.

There are four checkpoints on the course that provide food, drinks and cake. Organisers recommend trail shoes. The published mandatory kit list includes a waterproof jacket, a rucksack with bladder, a fully charged mobile phone, an energy bar, a basic first aid kit and a £20 note. The event has a published cut off time of 9PM. Entry appears as a single offer priced at £67.

Race headquarters is listed as The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ. Previous participants reported well stocked aid stations, clear waymarking, varied scenery and supportive volunteers. Organisers also plan to issue a larger event medal for this edition.
