The Sticks is a timed ultrarunning event held May 28-31, 2026 outside Norton, KS. It is organized by Ultraverse Supplements and uses a farmstead site near Norton. Available race durations are:

Registration has a participant cap of 75 and a strict limit of one vehicle per runner, including crew.
Course, facilities and rules
Participants repeat a measured 3 mile loop on a course made of mowed pasture and dirt road. There is an option to run a 4.3 mile dirt road loop that is available periodically during the event. One staffed aid station at the start/finish will be open for the duration of the races. Race food and an electrolyte/carb drink (Proxima C) will be provided; ramen will be served at night and brunch and dinner will be cooked. Free camping is available at the start/finish area with porta-potties, and there are showers and camping at Prairie Dog State Park nearby.
Only full laps count toward distance. Runners must check in with race staff before leaving the course and when returning, and they must check in after each loop. Pacers are allowed for runners after the 24-hour mark; no pacers for 6, 12, or 24-hour runners. Minimum age rules and other restrictions apply. Distance awards and participant swag include custom belt buckles for ultra-distance milestones and a gender-specific event tank top for all finishers.
