The Montana CattleWomen Ranch Run & Tough Udder
The event offers multiple race options on ranch land at Sitz Angus Ranch in Harrison, Montana, with a virtual option. Distances and formats include:
- 1K Calf Run for youth.
- 5K Ranch Run.
- 10K Ranch Run.
- Virtual Run option.
Routes run along pasture paths and country roads at the base of the Tobacco Root Mountains and loop back to the ranch headquarters. Courses follow two-track paths and include areas with hills and varied terrain. Water stations are placed along each route.
The Tough Udder obstacle elements appear near the final stretch. Participants can choose obstacles such as climbing over hay bales or carrying bags of seed or mineral a short distance to reflect ranch tasks.

Timing is not chip-based; finish line timing will be provided by event staff. After the race, there is a beef lunch in Pony, Montana. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
