Starting and finishing at the 20th Glasgow (1st Milngavie) Scout Group headquarters, the course features a mix of hard trails, single track, and unmade ground. The event is fully marked and marshalled, with electronic chip timing and no on-course water stations, so runners must carry their own supplies. Open to runners aged 17 and over, the race supports local scouting activities, offering medals, prizes, and plenty of post-race refreshments including cake.
