The Limberlost Challenge 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. The reserve is privately owned and the course follows trails that run alongside lakes and through a wetland area with beaver dams. The route includes steep inclines, occasional creek or mud crossings, technical sections that require nimble footwork, and faster trail sections. The course will be clearly marked and event staff and volunteers will be on site. The event is cupless; participants must bring their own cup.

The event notes mandatory pre-race instructions for the 28, 42 and 56 km races and that the 14 km race is organized in waves. A holiday discount pricing period runs from Dec 3 to Dec 31, 2025, and different pricing applies across later registration windows. There is a no-refund, no-deferral policy.
