THE LIMBERLOST CHALLENGE 2026
The Limberlost Challenge takes place on July 4, 2026 at the Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve in Huntsville, Ontario. The event is held on a privately owned reserve with a variety of trail terrain and natural features.
The course runs alongside lakes, through a wetland with beaver dams, over steep inclines and across occasional creeks and muddy sections. Runners encounter technical trail sections that require nimble footwork as well as stretches that allow faster running.

The event description notes a well marked course, volunteer support and a post race lunch provided for participants of the 7 to 56 km races. Runners in those distances will also receive technical running socks and a handcrafted participant medal. The event is cupless; participants must bring their own cup or bottle.
Registration includes holiday discount pricing from Dec 3 to Dec 31, 2025 and several later price tiers. Some distances show limited availability. There is a no refund and no deferral policy.
