The Legacy Trail Ultra is a free, 60K ultramarathon in Sarasota, FL, organized by the Manasota Track Club. It is the fourth annual running of the event and uses the Legacy Trail as its course. The route is an out-and-back that begins at Payne Park, runs south 18.6 miles before turning around, and returns to the start. There will be no road closings and there are limited aid stations. Runners are given 10 hours to complete the distance. A limited number of relay spots are available; requests must include the team name and both team members.

Logistics

Registration closes on Wednesday, Nov 19 at 11:59 PM ET. Packet pickup is scheduled for November 22 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Fleet Feet Sarasota, 711 S Osprey Ave #1, Sarasota, FL 34236. Organizers note that more information will be available closer to the event date. The overpass bridges at Bee Ridge and Clark will be complete for this edition of the race, removing previous waits at those intersections.
