The Coldwater Classic
The Coldwater Classic is a two day trail running and cross country mountain bike event hosted by Heads or Trails at the Coutlee Plateau Mountain Biking Recreation Area near Merritt, British Columbia. It takes place on July 18 and July 19, 2026.

- Multi sport 10 km run and 10 km bike
- Multi sport 26 km run and 26 km bike
The start and finish are located at Coutlee Plateau. Route maps and tracks for both the 10 km and 26 km courses are available on Trailforks and Gaia GPS. Some events include a six hour cutoff and a daytime course closure.
Registration runs with Early Bird and full price periods, and displayed prices include Race Roster processing fees. The event offers free on site camping for tents, RVs and trailers with no hookups or showers. Sites are first come first serve and port o potties are provided.
