Texas Canyon Trail Run
The Amerind Museum presents the Texas Canyon Trail Run on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2100 N. Amerind Rd, Dragoon, AZ 85609. The event offers four distance divisions:
- 10K Trail Run/Walk (adult)
- 10K Youth Trail Run/Walk
- 5K Adult Trail Run/Walk
- 5K Youth Trail Run/Walk
Entry fees are listed as $40 for the 10K adult, $25 for the 10K youth, $30 for the 5K adult, and $15 for the 5K youth. Race-day online registration is available.
Course and event details
The courses are entirely on the Amerind Museum property within Texas Canyon. Routes pass rock formations, including balancing boulders, and fields with yucca, ocotillo, various cacti, and scattered trees. The course includes three water stations and one porta-pot. Participants are asked to comply with event rules: no dogs, no headsets, and no smoking. Packet pick-up occurs on race day. An awards ceremony will follow the race; overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K receive medals and a piece of Native American art. Race registration includes free entry into the Amerind Museum and Art Gallery; participants may show their bib or guest pass for admission.
