Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB®
Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® is a trail-running event on Tenerife that stages multiple races across the island between 8 and 10 April 2027. Courses run from sea level up to Mount Teide at 3,555 metres, and cross volcanic terrain, pine and laurel forests, mountain trails and coastal paths. Part of the UTMB® World Series, the event includes both single-run and relay formats and contains adapted categories for athletes with disabilities.
The 2027 programme introduces a new 68 km race and modifies the historic 73 km format into an 82 km course. The Vertical Night Challenge has been extended with extra kilometres and for the first time includes a start line on the beach. The event retains longer and shorter distances, offering a range of route lengths and elevation profiles.
Distances and elevation gains include:
- 110 km - 6250 m+ elevation gain
- 82 km - 3300 m+ elevation gain
- 68 km - 3600 m+ elevation gain
- 47 km - 2600 m+ elevation gain
- 47 km relay - 2600 m+ elevation gain
- 24 km - 1300 m+ elevation gain
- Vertical Night Challenge 6.5 km - 850 m+ elevation gain
