Témis Zombies : second edition
Témis Zombies takes place on May 23, 2026 in Laverlochère. This is the second edition of the event, held as part of the Témis Ultra series and sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec since 2023.
The course is 3 km, starting from the tour des démols in Laverlochère. Each participant wears two flags that "zombies" will try to steal during the run. A participant who finishes the course with at least one flag receives the designation SURVIVANT; otherwise the participant is designated INFECTÉ.
Starts are organized in waves: every 10 minutes, 30 runners enter the forest trail equipped with a headlamp. The format combines a trail run with a flag-capture mechanic that determines the finisher designation.
Event information also lists general required equipment used in Témis Ultra activities, such as trail-appropriate footwear, a hydration system (minimum 500 mL), and a source of carbohydrates.
