Sydney Trail Half Marathon : Summer Edition
The Sydney Trail Half Marathon Summer Edition is a two-day trail race held at Lake Parramatta Reserve on Saturday 5 December 2026 and Sunday 6 December 2026. The event uses a single-lap course of 21 KM with total elevation gain and loss of +386 m / -386 m.
The route combines waterfront trails, technical single track sections and fire trails. Features along the course include a waterfall, lakeside views and eucalypt canopy. The course crosses public roads to access Hunts Creek Reserve and the waterfall; marshals will staff road crossings. The finish area is located beside a swimming area.
Aid support is provided on course with one aid station serving the 9.5 km and 14.5 km marks and an additional aid station after the finish. The event is cupless; athletes must carry their own cup, bottle or hydration vest. There is a strict four hour cutoff for the half marathon.
Mandatory items to carry during the race are a fully charged mobile phone with an active SIM and internet access, a compression bandage and water carrying capacity of at least 500 ml. Race inclusions listed by the organiser include a premium running singlet, free race photos, a finishers medal and a commemorative bucket hat. Race capacity for the Summer Edition is limited to 500 runners per day. A staffed bag drop will operate from the 180 Cadence gazebo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
