The Swamp Forest Trail Run takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida. The race is organized by Gulf Winds Track Club and is held at Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park, Gate B off Miller Landing Road, 4000 N Meridian Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312. Registration opens October 1. December 15 is the last day to register to receive a race shirt. The event is limited to 150 runners.

Course
The course is a 6.8-mile loop created by connecting three main loops and several linking trails. Trails include both single-track and multi-use surfaces and feature rolling terrain.
Loop descriptions note specific natural features: the Swamp Forest Loop runs beside a seepage basin swamp, ephemeral ponds, and a Beech-Magnolia forest; the Coon Bottom Loop follows a sand-bottom seepage stream, crosses a black-water stream, and passes Spruce Pine and upland forests; the Oak Hammock Loop runs near Lake Jackson shore with open fields and gopher tortoise holes. Additional sections include the Creek Forest Trail with Giant Cane patches and the Big Tree Cutoff passing a swamp with Needle Palms and large Tulip-Poplars.
