The Stanzer Windheimat Trail Run stretches over approximately 47 km and includes about 1900 meters of elevation gain. The route starts at the sports and cultural hall in Stanz im Mürztal and leads along the L114 towards Kindberg. Participants pass through various landscapes such as the Fladenbach stream, the Stanglalm pasture, and the Windheimat wind energy plants. The trail includes challenging sections with hiking and forest paths as well as steep climbs and descents. At the end, the trail leads back to the sports and cultural hall in Stanz.
