The start location is on Bear Lane near the dog park at the South Mountain Reservation-Dog Park Parking Lot, 12 Bear Lane, South Orange NJ 07079. The loop is run in a clockwise direction and follows Crest Drive/Crest Trail, the Red Trail, and then returns on the Bear Lane Trail.
