Spence Mountain Run

The Spence Mountain Run is an annual trail running event hosted by the Linkville Lopers. The 2026 edition will be the eighth annual race and the fifth year on its current course layout. The course consists of 95 percent single track trails and 5 percent forest or logging roads.

The event takes place in Klamath Falls, Oregon, with the start and finish located at 19040 Eagle Ridge Road.

Distances

The event offers four race distances:

  • 50K
  • 30K
  • Half Marathon
  • 5 Miler

A meal is included in the registration for the 50K, 30K, and half marathon distances, but not for the 5-mile race, where it must be purchased separately. Race day registration is available, but a pre-ordered meal is not included. The final cutoff time for all distances is 3:00 PM.

The course for the 50K is a combination of the other routes: runners complete the half marathon course first, followed by the 30K course.

Aid Stations

Aid stations are provided along the courses. For the half marathon, stations are at approximately miles 5, 8, and 11. The 30K course has stations with water only at miles 4.5 and 12, and full aid at miles 9.2 and 15.5. The 50K course combines the half marathon aid stations with the 30K stations on its second loop.
