Sparkassen Alb Marathon

Since 1991, the annual ultramarathon "Spar­kas­sen Alb Marathon" has been attracting runners to Schwäbisch Gmünd. The course, which is over 50 kilometers long and includes 1100 meters of elevation gain, passes over the three "Kaiserberge" mountains: Hohenstaufen, Rechberg, and Stuifen. In addition to the main race, there is also a 25-kilometer run and a relay option. Registration for the next race in October 2024 opens at the end of April. A spectacular event for the whole family!
