Southside Scramble

Atlanta, United States • 4 Oct 2025

Southside Scramble is Atlanta’s only intown trail race, held at Southside Park in southeast Atlanta (3460 Jonesboro Rd SE, 30354). The roughly 10-mile course winds through pine- and hardwood-shaded forests on looping singletrack, featuring roller-coaster descents, gravel stream crossings, powerline climbs, rock hazards, marsh passages, and wildlife sightings—often making runners feel outside the city limits. Proceeds benefit MTB Atlanta and the Southside Park trail builders. Race-day perks include a commemorative finisher award and a shirt designed by Hilary K., plus other goodies. Awards cover overall, masters, and multiple age groups; open to ages 12 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
