The Southern Chicken Fried is a trail running event held in Louisville, Georgia. This event features a 2-mile single-track trail loop. The course includes wooded sections, creek beds, and elevation gains of approximately 250 feet per loop. The route is identical to the one used for the "Rollin into the Night" run.

Participants can choose from two primary distances:

• 50 km (Extra Crispy)
• 25 km (Lightly Battered)

The event is organized as a free run, though donations are accepted to help cover costs. A 12-hour cutoff time is in place for all participants. There is one central aid station provided on-site, and runners have space to set up their own personal tables for support.

Registered participants receive a custom bib and a wooden participation medallion upon completion. Due to the nature of the single-track trail, pets and strollers are not permitted on the course. In addition to the main distances, a 10 km "Nugget" run is available for crew and family members of participants, though this distance is not open to the general public.
