Smugglers Corsair and Pirate

Penzance, United Kingdom • 22 Jun 2025

The Smugglers Corsair and Pirate event, held at Land's End, Cornwall, offers two challenging races along the stunning South West Coast Path. Participants can choose the Pirate Half Marathon, running from Land's End to Cape Cornwall and back, or the Corsair Full Marathon, which extends to Mousehole and returns. Both are multi-terrain, out-and-back courses featuring over 90% trail running.

Runners collect themed tokens—Pirates gather "booty" at Cape Cornwall, while Corsairs earn a royal warrant en route. The event is known for its tough terrain and rewarding atmosphere, with spot prizes and trophies. It is organized by Bys Vyken Events and embraces a spirited pirate theme.
