The Kids Race is about 2.5 km on the Cross Mountain Trail, timed, open to children aged 0-12, and awards a medallion and a goodie bag to each finisher; parent participation is suggested. The Vertical Climb is a 2 km ascent with approximately 480 m of elevation gain on open slope with no marked trail. Included with most entries are a custom race shirt, custom bib, swag bag, finisher prize, fully stocked aid stations, first aid coverage, and on-site services such as an expo, massage, and food options.
