FatShoe - Vernon, BC
FatShoe is a winter multisport event organized by Bush Babes at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, BC on January 9, 2027. The event offers several formats: a team duathlon combining fat bike and snowshoe legs, a solo fat bike race, and a solo snowshoe race. Relay runners register individually and must include their team name; relay legs must be confirmed before race day.
The venue uses the BX Creek and Knoll trail system at Silver Star Mountain Resort. The course layout described by the organizer includes:
- Rider loop approximately 11 km
- Snowshoe loop approximately 5.5 km
- Kids loop approximately 2.5 km
Entry fees listed by the organizer are CAN $55 plus tax for solo and snowshoe entries, CAN $110 plus tax for team entries, and CAN $15 plus tax for the kids event. Registration closes January 5, 2027.
