Skinouk Cup - Trail race
The Skinouk Cup trail race will take place on 24 October 2026 at Centre de ski Nakkertok Nordique (Nakkertok South, 900 Avenue Gatineau, Gatineau). The event was created to give regional cross-country ski club athletes a chance to assess their preparation before the ski season, and it is also open to other participants.
Routes are 100% trail and run through woods, offering a mix of rolling and technical sections across different distances. The race is sanctioned as a trail event by the Fédération Québécoise d'Athlétisme. The official presenter for 2026 is Euro-Sports.
In collaboration with Chelsea Nordiq, the event includes a biathlon discovery race open to everyone. The discovery race consists of a 400 m loop run four times with a laser rifle shooting session between each lap.
