Shore2Shore is a point-to-point trail event in East Islip, New York, held on Saturday, Apr 18, 2026. The course follows the Suffolk County Long Island Greenbelt Trail from the North Shore at Sunken Meadow to Heckscher State Park on the South Shore. The route is described as 100% on the Greenbelt Trail, with occasional sections on road and at road crossings. Course marking and a full map will be provided.

Each entrant will receive a logoed shirt and a finisher award; the award is described as not a traditional medal. The event includes trail work requirements: each entrant must complete 2 hours of trail or volunteer work between registration and Apr 1, or donate $20 to the Long Island Greenbelt Trail, or provide verification of volunteer service.

Logistics and services

Fully stocked aid stations are planned, including Hyle Hydration and Huma gels, plus sandwiches, snacks, sodas, candy, and fruit. Crew information for aid stations will be provided.

Parking is available at the finish area in Heckscher Park. Bus transport to the start is available for ticket holders; drop-offs at the start are allowed. A participant check-in will occur at the start line prior to the race.
