Course and logistics

The course uses the Suffolk County Long Island Greenbelt Trail. The trail is mostly maintained but includes some road sections and crossings. Course markings will be in place. Parking is at the finish area in Heckscher State Park. Bus transport to the start is available for those who purchase a ticket. A start-line check-in will confirm participants who are beginning the race.

Aid stations and participant requirements

Fully stocked aid stations will be available with Hyle Hydration and Huma gels, plus sandwiches, snacks, sodas, candy, and fruit. Crew information for aid stations will be provided later.

As part of registration, each entrant must provide two hours of trail or volunteer service between signup and April 1. Options include volunteering with the Long Island Greenbelt Association, volunteering locally with verification, or donating $20 to the Long Island Greenbelt Trail.
