Schneekopflauf Schmiedefeld
The 22nd Schneekopflauf will take place in Schmiedefeld on July 5, 2025. This running event features two main distances: a 12.7 km route with approximately 450 meters of elevation gain and a longer 22.2 km route with about 850 meters of elevation gain, introduced in 2022. Additionally, there will be an 11 km hiking option. The event is part of the Sühler Büchsen Cup and offers participants stunning views of the Thüringer Wald.
