Event Details

The Sasquatch Shuffle TX takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Mission Tejas State Park near Grapeland, Texas. The event has a maximum participant cap of 500 runners.

Course

The trail course features a mix of surfaces, including pine straw, single-track trails, winding downhills, and stone stairs built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The route involves climbing on the way to the front of the park and descending on the return.

Distances and Format

The event offers several distances, each run on a looped course:

  • 100K - 10 loops
  • 50K - 5 loops
  • 30K - 3 loops
  • 10K - 2 loops
  • 5K - 1 loop

A 100K relay option is also available. There is a final, hard cutoff time for all races at 2:00 AM.

Additional Information

Free camping is available on both Friday and Saturday nights. Packet pickup and a pre-race meeting are scheduled for Friday afternoon. Registered runners receive a custom medal, a choice of swag, volunteer support, fully stocked aid stations, official timing, and free race photos. The inaugural Get Your Shine On Pink Out Trail Run is a 5K trail event in Davey Dogwood Park, Palestine. Runners receive a shirt and bib, with awards for top finishers. The marked trail features an aid station and volunteer support.
