Course, logistics and awards
The course is made of single-track trails through the outskirts of the Davy Crockett National Forest with tall pine trees, soft ground, and rolling terrain. Each loop is 6.20 miles. Race formats use loop counts: 10 loops for the 100K and the 100K relay, 5 loops for the 50K, 3 loops for the 30K, 2 loops for the 20K, and 1 loop for the 10K. Packet pickup is available on the days before and the day of the event at the start/finish area. The park address is 120 State Park Road 44, Grapeland, TX 75844. The event offers free tent camping on Friday and Saturday at the park.
