Course and support

The course is an approximately 5 km loop and is described as very flat. It includes sections of the Fallen Oak, Wetlands, Whispering Pines, Otey Shelton, Trillium, and Lake trails. The start and finish are adjacent to the Lakeside Pavilion. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own hydration device. An aid station will provide water, sports drink, and food.

A GPX file of the course is available. Parking and set-up are allowed from park opening. A large rented shelter with 15 picnic tables will be used for race support; small tents up to 10x10 canopies are permitted, but tarps or ground coverings are not allowed.

Awards and facilities

All finishers receive a homemade medal and additional finisher swag. Custom long-sleeve shirts are offered as an add-on. Top three overall awards for women and men are given in each event. A heated restroom in the Nature Center serves as the primary facility, with additional restrooms near the playground at the park entrance.
