San Joaquin River Trail Half Marathon & 10K
The event takes place on March 7, 2026, at the San Joaquin River Gorge Special Recreation Management Area in Auberry, CA (40060 Smalley Road). It offers trail running on foothill single-track with significant climbing and technical terrain.

The half marathon route includes approximately 2500 feet of elevation gain and over 90% single-track trail. Both courses feature steep hills and rough terrain; runners are advised to carry handheld water and preferred nutrition. Aid stations are provided: the 10K has one aid station near mile 4, and the half marathon has aid stations at miles 4, 6, 9.6 and 11.7. Aid stations will supply water, sports drink, GU gels, Skratch and other snacks. Course markings include signs with directional arrows and orange ribbon; participants are asked to keep any trash at aid stations.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom event shirt; awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and three-deep in 10-year age groups. Early bib and shirt pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at Fleet Feet Sports Fresno (9447 N Fort Washington Suite 106, Fresno, CA). Parking is available near the start/finish in the Aholul Campground and additional lot areas; carpooling is encouraged and volunteers will direct parking. Please avoid parking in the equestrian area.
