Running with My Gnomies is a trail race held at Camp Tuscazoar in Dover, Ohio. The event offers multiple distances that use a 25k loop on Camp Tuscazoar property. The route combines single track trails, bridle trails, and short sections of gravel access road.

Aid stations are located for participant support: one at about mile 5 for all runners, a second at about mile 10 for 25k and 50k runners, and an aid station at the start and finish area that 50k runners pass after their first loop. The event is cupless; participants must carry a hydration vest or handheld bottle and are advised to bring a reusable cup for electrolyte drinks.

Finishers receive a Gnome finisher medal. First and second place age group awards are given for male and female competitors by decade categories: 19 and under, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60 plus. The event has a cut off time of 10 hours.

Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 8 and on race morning at Camp Tuscazoar. Registration closes the evening before the event. Spectators may use the start and finish area and a nearby south parking area to view runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Trail runs nearby

Out-and-back trail races of 25K, 50K and 50 miles from St. Helena Park along the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The event features regular aid stations, a cupless policy, a 14 hour cutoff, awards and finisher medals.

A 5K trail run and walk through the Norma Johnson Center trails near Dover, Ohio with parking and race-day registration at the adjoining Yellowbrick on 39. Awards and a door-prize drawing follow the event.

Eagle Up Ultra is a 24 hour race on a five mile loop at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Options include a new 25K, individual 24 hour entries, and relay teams aiming for 100 miles.

Weekend trail races at Salt Fork State Park featuring 50K, 20-mile, and two 10-mile events on a 10.4-mile loop. Awards and finisher swag are provided, and donations benefit Guernsey County Sheriff's Mounted Search and Rescue.
