Run Through Time Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

The 21st Annual Run Through Time takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Salida, Colorado. The event includes multiple distance options and runs on local trails, roads, and public land in the Arkansas Valley area.

  • A Run Through Time Trail Marathon
  • A Run Through Time Trail Half Marathon
  • A Run Through Time 2 Mile Run
  • Kids 400 meter run in Riverside Park

Courses use dirt and jeep roads plus narrow, hilly single track. Elevation on the routes ranges from about 7000 to 9000 feet. The 2 mile run follows the first two dirt road miles of the longer courses. All movement on course is by foot only.

There is a 7 1/2 hour time limit for the marathon and a 5 hour time limit for the half marathon. Crews and pacers are not allowed on either course. The half and full marathon share a combined field limit of 500 participants, split mostly evenly.

Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each race and to the top three in each 10 year age group. Registered entrants receive custom race socks and a light hot meal is available at the finish. Packet pickup and the finish are at the Salida Scout Hut, 210 East Sackett Avenue.
