The 21st Annual Run Through Time takes place Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Salida, Colorado. The event includes a trail marathon, a trail half marathon, a 2 mile run, and a free kids' 400 meter run in Riverside Park. Registration opens November 1, 2025. There is a 500 person combined limit for the half and full marathon, split mostly evenly between the two events.

Course, rules and logistics

Courses run on dirt/jeep roads and narrow, hilly single track on the Arkansas Hills Trail System, BLM and Forest Service land, and Chaffee County and City of Salida property. Elevations range from 7,000 to 9,000 feet. Foot travel only. Time limits: the marathon has a 7 1/2 hour limit and the half marathon has a 5 hour limit. Crews and pacers are not allowed. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female overall in each race and to the top three in each 10-year age group. A light hot meal will be available at the finish, and all registered runners will receive custom race socks. Packet pickup, restrooms, the race finish, and post-race activities are located at the Salida Scout Hut, 210 East Sackett Avenue, Salida, CO.
