Run Off-the-Grid takes place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 574 Snake Creek Road, Mattawan, Ontario. The event is held entirely on trail with no paved sections and runs through forested terrain during autumn. The site includes on-site camping and accommodations at Nature's Harmony Ecolodge.
Course and distances
The race uses a 12.5 km loop that includes single track, old logging roads, rolling hills, steep climbs, rocky technical sections, creek crossings, a mud bog, and a gravel pit with a sandy dune descent. Each additional loop is run in the opposite direction.
- 12.5 km - single loop
- 25 km - two loops
- 50 km - four loops
- 50 km relay - team of four, each running a 12.5 km loop
Facilities, food, and community support
A post-race meal is served with hot options and vegan and gluten-free choices; participants are asked to bring their own dishes and cutlery. Camping amenities include compost toilets, eco-showers, a hot sauna, group fire pits, swimming access, and a play area for children. The event donates $5 from each registration to the Mattawa & Area Food Bank, collects used shoes for Soles4Souls, and reinvests remaining proceeds into Nature's Harmony Ecolodge.
Entry and policies
Bib transfers and category transfers are allowed until September 20, 2025. Refunds are available only through the Race Roster refund program; no refunds or deferrals are offered outside that program.
