Run Larapinta is a four-day stage trail race held on the Larapinta Trail in the Red Centre, based around Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. The 2026 event dates are Friday 14 to Monday 17 August. The event offers two course options: the Malbunka (long course) and the Namatjira (short course). Organisers reported that full four-stage entries for both the Malbunka and Namatjira reached capacity on 27 October 2025; limited single-stage entries remained and a waitlist was available for full race packages.

  • Stage 2 - 41 km: Simpsons Gap to Standley Chasm
  • Stage 3 - 33 km: Birthday Waterhole turn-off to Standley Chasm
  • Stage 4 - 34 km: Ochre Pits to Ellery Creek Waterhole
