Rogue Gorge is a trail running event held October 18-19, 2025 in Union Creek, Oregon, within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest along the Upper Rogue Wild & Scenic River. The event is staged at the Union Creek Day Use Picnic Shelter and Amphitheater and features running on the Rogue Gorge Trail and Upper Rogue River Trail, a National Recreation Trail. The setting includes old growth forest, lava tube features, waterfalls and river canyon scenery.
Courses and logistics
- 50 Miler - point-to-point, downriver, 99% singletrack, 4,000 ft ascent, 5,900 ft descent, 6 aid stations.
- 50K - 31.0 miles, out-and-back, 99% singletrack, 3,000 ft ascent and descent, 4 aid stations.
- Half Marathon - 13.4 miles, mostly out-and-back, 98% singletrack, 900 ft ascent and descent, one aid station at mile 7.
- 12K - 7.5 miles, lollipop loop-style, 98% singletrack, about 330 ft ascent and descent.
Registration fees vary by date and distance. Registration includes a marked course, staging venue, parking, timing and results, aid stations, medical support, custom finisher awards and event photography. The event provides on-site camping at the Union Creek Campground (first-come, pay on arrival), local lodging options in Union Creek and nearby Prospect, and limited parking with restrictions on large RVs and long trailers.
