Rogue Gorge is a trail running event produced by Daybreak Racing on October 18-19, 2025. The event offers multiple distances and donates a portion of proceeds to the Siskiyou Mountain Club. Registration for the event closes on October 12, 2025.
Courses
The races run along the Rogue Gorge Trail and Upper Rogue River Trail beside the Upper Rogue Wild & Scenic River through old growth forest and volcanic canyon features. Most routes are nearly all singletrack and include aid stations on course.
- 50 Miler - point-to-point, 99% singletrack, 4000 ft up, 5900 ft down, 6 aid stations
- 50K - out-and-back, 99% singletrack, 31.0 miles, 3000 ft climb and descent, 4 aid stations
- Half Marathon - mostly out-and-back, 98% singletrack, 13.4 miles, 900 ft ascent, 1 aid station
- 12K - lollipop loop-style, 98% singletrack, 7.5 miles, 330 ft ascent and descent
Location and logistics
The event is staged at the Union Creek Day Use Picnic Shelter and Amphitheater in Union Creek, Oregon, within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, about 23 miles west of Crater Lake National Park. Event parking uses Union Creek Campground stalls and road shoulder; no RVs or long trailers are allowed and very large RVs (longer than 24 ft) are discouraged. The campground is first-come, first-served, has drinking water and vault toilets, and does not provide electricity or showers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
