Rogue Gorge
Rogue Gorge is a trail running weekend on October 17 and 18, 2026, staged from the Union Creek day use area in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest in Southern Oregon.
The event offers multiple trail distances:
- 50 Miler point to point
- 50K point to point
- Half Marathon lollipop loop trail run
- 12K lollipop loop trail run
All courses run along the Upper Rogue Wild and Scenic River and the Rogue Gorge Trail, including sections of the Upper Rogue River Trail National Recreation Trail. The route follows singletrack through old growth Douglas fir, ponderosa and sugar pine forest, and traverses basalt lava and pumice canyons, collapsed lava tube chasms, Natural Bridge, and waterfalls. The setting reflects the region's volcanic history dating to the Mt. Mazama eruption that formed Crater Lake.
Registration fees include a fully marked course, aid stations, medical support, timing and results, parking, custom finisher awards, and professional photography. The 12K includes a youth category with a discounted fee and a limited number of free youth entries. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Siskiyou Mountain Club.
Event staging and guest services note local lodging at Union Creek Resort, on site campground amenities with drinking water and vault toilets but no showers or electricity, and recommended parking locations near the staging area.
