Rocky 50, by USWE Trail Race takes place on February 14, 2026 at Huntsville State Park, 565 Park Road 40 West, Huntsville, TX 77340. The event includes the following distances:

All races are chip timed; timing chips are attached to an ankle strap and must be worn on the ankle during the race. The event uses mass starts per distance, and participant caps are in place due to limited space in the park.

Course, logistics and rules

The course starts near Lake Raven and uses multiple loops through Huntsville State Park. The full 50 mile course is three repeats of a 16.7 mile loop; the 50K uses a shorter first lap plus one full 16.7 mile lap; the half marathon follows a single modified 13.1 mile lap. One full loop has about 900 feet of elevation gain and equal loss. Trail features include exposed tree roots, pine needle surface, bridges, and lakeshore sections. Course markings include arrows, caution tape, and confidence markers; the route is signed by distance at intersections.

Aid stations are provided and the race is cupless - runners should bring their own cup or bottle. Drop bag delivery to the Dam Nation aid station is available for 50 mile and 50K entrants if bags are submitted during packet pickup on Friday. Pacers are allowed under event rules and must register.
