Robe Run
Robe Run : Robe, South Australia
Robe Run is an organised road and trail running event held in the coastal town of Robe on the Limestone Coast, South Australia. The event is presented by Adelaide Trail Runners and runs over multiple distances that start and finish at Foreshore Reserve, Mundy Terrace, Robe.
The courses combine coastal trails, beach and road running and include a notable section along Long Beach. The full marathon is a double loop of the half marathon course. Aid stations and public toilets are shown on the published course maps. Drop bags for marathon runners are accepted at bib pick-up and returned at Drink Station 2, located at about 13.5 km and 34.6 km on the course.
Finishers medals are awarded to participants completing the 42.2 km, 21.1 km and 14 km distances. Medal presentations take place at the conclusion of the event, and trophies are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance (42.2 km, 21.1 km, 14 km and 5 km).
Additional event activities include a Friday evening casual "Robes Run" from The Institute to The Obelisk and a bib pick-up and sponsors expo located at The Institute opposite the start and finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
