River's Edge Trail Race
River's Edge Trail Race takes place on May 23, 2026 at the Katy Trailhead at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas. The course uses well built single track dirt trails that run along the San Gabriel River and link several parks around downtown Georgetown.

- 25K trail run
- 10 mile trail run
- 5 mile trail run
- 1 mile youth trail run (ages 12 and under)
Mountain bike events offered:
- 22 mile cross country bike race (two laps)
- 11 mile cross country bike race
- 11 mile cross country E Bikes only race
The trail running course is primarily hard packed, flowy single track with some technical sections, short gravity drops and climbs, shaded dirt access roads, a crushed granite path through San Gabriel Park, and short paved connectors where a dirt option may be available. The layout forms a cloverleaf with a central aid station and additional stations near the start and finish. All natural surface sections sit on the edges of parks such as Katy Crossing, San Gabriel Park, Rivery Park, Blue Hole Park, and Chautauqua Park.
Key operational notes: the event is chip timed with ankle chips, pacers are not allowed, races are cupless so participants must bring a cup or bottle, drop bags are not provided, and camping in city parks is not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
