River's Edge Trail Race

River's Edge Trail Race takes place May 29, 2027 in downtown Georgetown, Texas, with the race hub at the Katy Trailhead at San Gabriel Park (1100 North College Street). The course follows singletrack dirt trails along the San Gabriel River and links multiple parks in the historic downtown area.

Trails are mostly hard-packed singletrack with some technical sections, shaded dirt roads, and open fields. The terrain is rolling with short climbs and descents and no sustained elevation gain. Creek crossings are present on the course and may require wet feet; mountain bikers may need to shoulder their bikes at some crossings. The Georgetown Trails Foundation builds and maintains most of the trails used for the event.
