Surfaces include hard-packed single track, some technical sections, shaded dirt access roads, a crushed granite path through San Gabriel Park, and short paved jogging-path connectors. The 50 km repeats the 25 km loop. The Youth 1-mile is an out-and-back along the river on the Katy Crossing trails.
Logistics, rules and services
Course markings use tape, arrows, and confidence markers. All races are chip timed with ankle chips. Pacers are not allowed. Aid stations are placed in a cloverleaf layout with a main central aid and basic mid-section support; runners should carry enough water for up to about 5 miles. The event is cupless and follows Leave No Trace practices. Drop bags are not provided but may be left near the Race Hub or the Main Aid Station. Parking is available at McMaster’s Sports Complex and the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Admin Building. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
