Ridge Rambler Half Marathon

The Ridge Rambler Half Marathon is scheduled for September 26, 2026, in the Bridgeport, California area. The race is a point-to-point half marathon that starts at Twin Lakes, about 13 miles from the town of Bridgeport, and finishes at a different location.

Check-in is located on South Twin Road, not at the starting line, and is about one to two miles from the start. After checking in, participants can use a shuttle to reach the starting area or drive down the road alongside the lake and park on the roadside. A return shuttle will be available at the finish to take runners back toward the starting area or parking.

The course begins at approximately 7,100 feet elevation, follows the lake for a stretch, descends toward Buckeye Road at about 6,800 feet, then climbs a ridge with rolling hills to a highest point near 7,130 feet before finishing at about 6,600 feet. There are three aid stations with water along the course. The finish area will provide water, snacks, and a medal for finishers.

Registration details include an entry fee of $70 per person, increasing to $80 after July 31. Participants who register after August 26 are not guaranteed a t-shirt or medal.
