Ridge Rambler Half Marathon

The Ridge Rambler Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Twin Lakes near Bridgeport, California. The event is a half marathon and proceeds go to Bridgeport Elementary School. An after party is planned; details are pending.

Check-in is located on South Twin Road, about one to two miles from the starting line and not at the start. After checking in, participants may take a shuttle to the starting area or drive and park alongside the lake. A shuttle will be available at the finish to return runners to the start area.

The course is point to point and begins on the back side of Lower Twin at about 7,100 feet. Runners follow a route that stays near the lake, then descends toward Buckeye Road at about 6,800 feet. After turning onto Buckeye Road the route climbs a ridge and continues with rolling hills; the highest point on the course is about 7,130 feet and the finish is near 6,600 feet.

There are three aid stations with water along the course. The finish area will provide water, snacks, and a medal. Registration fees listed are $70 per person or $80 after July 31. Participants who register after August 26 are not guaranteed a t-shirt or medal. Registration closes on September 25, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
