Ridge Rambler Half Marathon

Ridge Rambler Half Marathon : Twin Lakes, Bridgeport CA

The Ridge Rambler Half Marathon is a point to point half marathon held on September 26, 2026 near Twin Lakes, about 13 miles from the town of Bridgeport, California. The event is organized by Ridge Rambler 5K & Half Marathon and proceeds support Bridgeport Elementary School.

Check in is located on South Twin Road near the Lower Twin Lake Boating Site parking area; this check in area is about a mile or two from the start. After checking in, participants may take a shuttle to the starting line or drive down the road alongside the lake and park at the roadside. A shuttle from the finish back toward the start is provided.

The course begins at roughly 7,100 feet on the back side of Lower Twin, follows the lake, then drops toward Buckeye Road at about 6,800 feet before climbing a ridge with rolling hills. The course highest point is near 7,130 feet and the finish is near 6,600 feet. The route is described on the event course map.

There are three aid stations offering water along the course. The finish area will include water, snacks, and distribution of medals. Participants who register after August 26 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt or medal. Details for a postrace after party are pending. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
