Red Run Day 2025 is on Sunday 9 November 2025 at Enoggera Reservoir Circuit, D'Aguilar National Park, The Gap, Brisbane. The event is held in honour of Remembrance Day and is organised by Trek2Health. The entry ticket is complimentary and registration is required online in advance. Each participant has a fundraising goal of $75 to support mental wellness services for Queensland veterans and frontline personnel.

Route and support

The route is a 8.5 km trail run, jog and walk around the forested shores of Enoggera Reservoir on wide fire trails. The course includes some rough terrain and a few short hills and offers bush and lake views. The event is expected to take about two hours. Support stations will provide water and on-course support, and medical professionals will be available and patrolling the route in 4x4 vehicles. Registration and the welcome ceremony take place at Trek2Health Headquarters. All participants receive a race bib, a Red Run medal and a Trek2Health bandana. After the event there is coffee and a complimentary BBQ provided by Ashgrove The Gap Lions Club.

Fundraising and rewards

Funds raised provide stigma-free mental wellness support services for Queensland veterans and frontline workers. Fundraising rewards include: the first 100 people to raise $100 receive a Red Run endurance shirt; raising $500 earns a Trek2Health wilderness jacket and shirt; raising $1000 earns a jacket, shirt and cap. A team endurance hike on 13 June 2026 through D'Aguilar National Park from Brookfield Recreation Reserve, offering 18 km, 30 km and 48 km courses. Teams fundraise for the Kokoda Youth Foundation and honour Kokoda veterans.

Lake Manchester Trails on 16 August 2026 offers family-focused trail runs around the lake with distances from 1 km kids dashes to a 23 km loop. Water stops, on-course electrolytes and a no disposable cups policy are provided.
