Ram Party Trail Runs
Ram Party is a trail race weekend held on May 15, 2027, in the Rampart Range near Colorado Springs, Colorado, with the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort serving as the main start and finish location. The event offers multiple distances and course formats around Rampart Reservoir and Rampart Range Road, with views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range.

Course notes: the 55 mile route starts and finishes at Buffalo Lodge, climbs Rampart Range Road, reaches near 9,500 feet, loops around Rampart Reservoir, and returns to the lodge. The 60K is point to point, starting near the Boy Scout camp and finishing at Buffalo Lodge; a shuttle is provided for 60K runners. The 50K is an out-and-back that gains over 4,000 feet on the Rampart Range. The 24K and 15K begin and finish at Buffalo Lodge and include turnaround climbs on Rampart Range Road.
Support and logistics: aid stations and drop bag access are provided on multiple courses. Crews may use the start/finish area; pacers are permitted for the final segment of the 55 mile course but are not allowed for other distances. On-site parking is extremely limited and alternate parking locations and shuttle options are listed. Elevation on some courses reaches about 9,500 feet, and temperatures at higher points and at the Boy Scout camp are typically cooler than in town.
