Courses and logistics

Courses start and finish at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort unless noted. The 60K is a point-to-point that begins at the Boy Scout Camp near Rampart Reservoir and finishes at Buffalo Lodge. The 50K is an out-and-back from Buffalo Lodge. The 24K and 15K climb Rampart Range Road to a turnaround and return to Buffalo Lodge. The 55 Mile course loops around Rampart Reservoir and uses Rampart Range Road.

Aid stations are provided on all courses; runners may store finish-line drop bags. The 55 Mile has a mid-course drop bag at Rainbow Gulch (accessed twice). Crews may support runners at start/finish; pacers are allowed only for the final segment of the 55 Mile and are not allowed on other distances. Parking at Buffalo Lodge is limited and a shuttle is provided for 60K runners. Lodging discount available at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort with promo code "ARAVAIPA." Weather can be cooler near the Boy Scout camp and at the course high point near 9,500 feet; warm layers and rain protection are recommended.
