About the race
Ram Party Trail Runs is a weekend trail race held in mid-May around the Rampart Range and Rampart Reservoir near Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, Colorado. Races center on the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort and nearby forest roads and single track with views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range.

The 55 mile event starts and finishes at Buffalo Lodge and loops around Rampart Reservoir, using Rampart Range Road for substantial climbing; its high point is near 9,500 feet and the course lists roughly 6,964 feet of elevation gain. The 60K is a point to point that begins at Glen Aspen Boy Scout Camp and finishes at Buffalo Lodge; a shuttle serves point-to-point runners. Courses feature aid stations, designated drop bag locations, and published cutoff times. Pacers are allowed for the final segment of the 55 mile race; pacers are not allowed for several other distances.
