Pfälzer Bergland Trail

The Pfälzer Bergland Trail is a stage race that spans three days and covers a total of 125 kilometers through the picturesque Pfälzer Bergland. Participants stay overnight at the Wolfstein Youth Hostel in the Kusel district. Since its inception in 2014, the trail has become a popular event that highlights the beauty of the region and its hiking trails. Starting in 2024, an additional ultra-distance route of over 45 kilometers will be offered. The event will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2025 with a special event at Lichtenberg Castle, aimed at engaging both participants and spectators alike.
