Peach Hill Trail Race

The Peach Hill "Run For the Hill Of It" is a 5K cross-country event held at Peach Hill Park in Poughkeepsie, New York. The course utilizes the park's mowed trails and reaches the highest elevation point in the Town of Poughkeepsie, providing views of the surrounding area in all directions. The event accommodates both runners and walkers across all age groups.

Participants follow a 5K route through the natural landscape of the park. Specific restrictions are in place for the safety of all participants; bicycles, dogs, and strollers of any kind are not permitted on the course.

Check-in procedures take place at the park before the start. The first 75 registrants receive event-specific swag. Following the conclusion of the race, snacks are provided for participants. Awards are presented to the overall top finishers and winners within specific age groups.

In the event of inclement weather on the scheduled Saturday, a rain date is designated for the following Sunday. All proceeds from the registration fees are directed to the Friends of Peach Hill, a volunteer non-profit organization responsible for the maintenance and improvement of Peach Hill Park.
