Sargent Elementary Turkey Trot
The 5th Annual Sargent Elementary School Turkey Trot takes place in Beacon, New York on November 21, 2026. The event includes a community 5K Run/Walk and a shorter kids fun run held on school property.

- 5K Run/Walk, scenic course along Long Dock Park trails
- Kids Fun Run (12 and under), 1 mile on Sargent Elementary property
Registration fees and dates are set by the organizer: the 5K has a registration fee of $32.00 and the kids run has a registration fee of $10.00. Registration for the 5K opens August 18, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026. Registration for the Kids Fun Run opens August 18, 2026 and closes November 21, 2026.
Sargent Elementary Student Council is hosting a food drive in partnership with Fareground Food + Community. Non-perishable and canned items will be collected at the Turkey Trot and may also be dropped off at Sargent Elementary from November 1–21.
