The Panther Prowl 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is scheduled for March 7, 2026 at Northside High School, 7868 Free Union Church Road, Pinetown, NC 27865. The event features two distances:

• 1 Mile Fun Run

Event details

The races take place on trails on the Northside High School campus. The course is described as mostly flat with a few gentle rolling hills and is well marked. All proceeds benefit the Northside High School Track and Cross Country programs, supporting equipment, travel, and training.

Registration fees and giveaways are set as follows: the 5K is $30 through January 1 and $40 from January 2 to March 7; the 1-Mile is $25 through January 1 and $35 from January 2 to March 7. Participants who register by January 1 are guaranteed a race T-shirt.

Awards for the 5K include medals for the top three men and women overall and the top three men and women in each age division: 10 & under; 11–15; 16–20; 21–30; 31–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60+. The 1-Mile Fun Run is non-competitive in format, with medals awarded to the top three men and women overall. Race timing is provided by Run The East, LLC.
