The event takes place at San Pedro Valley Park in Pacifica, California. Distances offered are:

The event has a capacity of 350 runners. Parking is available inside San Pedro Valley Park for $6.00, with limited neighborhood parking outside the park. Dogs are not allowed in the park or on the trails.

Course, aid, and logistics

Courses are mostly dirt trails with twisty single-track sections, some fire road, and sustained climbs on Montara Mountain and surrounding foothills. Hiking or trekking poles are permitted. The 30K has a 6 hour time limit. Disposable timing chips are attached to the back of each bib for chip timing. Drop bag service is not available.

Aid stations supply a range of food and drinks, which may include energy gels and chews, stroopwafels, trail mix, pretzels, chips, PB&J sandwiches, fruit, water, sports hydration mix, and cola or ginger ale. This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own bottle or reusable cup. Race shirts are tri-blend performance tees; guaranteed sizing requires registration by January 10, 2026.
