Pacific Coast Running Festival
The Pacific Coast Running Festival is a two day running event on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington, scheduled for September 26 and 27, 2026. It is presented as the fifth annual edition and includes multiple race distances, a Health and Wellness Expo, food and beverage offerings, and awards ceremonies.
Races use a mix of shoreline and paved routes. The Sand Marathon runs along the beach with turnaround points and at least two aid stations on course. The half marathon, 10K, and 5K courses begin and end near the Long Beach Arch and follow wide, paved bike paths along the peninsula. Kids races are organized as short dashes intended as low pressure, noncompetitive events for younger participants.
Event services include packet pickup and registration at the Long Beach Arch, an expo open to the community, postrace awards, and an after party. Multiple award categories are listed, including overall, masters, age groups, and Clydesdale and Athena divisions. A special BEAST medal is awarded to participants who complete two or more events during the weekend.
The festival names the South Pacific County Humane Society as a beneficiary and reports that contributions from related races and fundraisers have exceeded three million dollars over the years. The event also supports local high school sports programs and other nonprofit organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
