Registration for the 2026 event opens June 6, 2025, and closes March 29, 2026, or sooner if field limits are met. The organizer lists a first price increase occurring after November 30, 2025, and a final price increase after March 1, 2026; the Night 50K is not subject to a price increase. Registrations made by March 15, 2026 are guaranteed event swag; later registrations receive alternative swag. Distance-change and cancellation deadlines are noted in late March 2026.

The event is part of the 50K Mashup trail race series and joined the Trail Mix Fund in December 2025 to help waive registration fees for some under-served runners. The organizers maintain a sustainability policy: the event is cup-free and asks participants to bring a mess kit with a plate and spork to support a zero waste pledge.
