Event overview

OUTLAST Gulf of America is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event is held at Padre Island National Seashore - Malaquite Visitor Center (20420 Park Rd 22, Corpus Christi, TX 78418). The event format is a timed six-hour endurance challenge.

Format and course

Participants run a 5K loop each hour, for up to six rounds. Each lap must be completed within the hour to remain in the event; missing a lap ends a competitor’s participation. The course is trail-based and, for this location, runs on a sandy beach with natural terrain and elevation changes. Walking is allowed if the lap is finished within the hour.

Prizes, aid and logistics

Finishers earn awards based on laps completed: 4 laps = Bronze leather patch, 5 laps = Silver leather patch, 6 laps = Premium wooden OUTLAST medal. All participants receive an OUTLAST T‑shirt and sticker. Top male and female finishers by combined time at each event earn local 1st Place awards and are placed on a national leaderboard. The fastest overall time across OUTLAST 6-hour events is eligible for a national prize. Aid at the basecamp/loop start will include water, basic hydration, and snacks; the event is cupless, so participants should use their own bottle or hydration system.
