Ottawa Spartan Event Weekend 2026

The Ottawa Spartan Event Weekend takes place at Calabogie Peaks, located approximately 50 minutes from downtown Ottawa. The venue is situated at the base of Dickson Mountain and on the shores of Calabogie Lake. The course features technical terrain, including gnarly singletrack, steep climbs, and descents that incorporate the natural elevation of the area.

The event offers a variety of obstacle course races and endurance challenges:

  • Sprint: A 5 km distance featuring 20 obstacles.
  • Super: A 10 km distance featuring 25 obstacles.
  • Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 km to 3 km with age-appropriate obstacles.
  • Hurricane Heat: Specific endurance events lasting either 4 hours or 12 hours.

In addition to the obstacle races, the weekend also features Spartan Trail races. The environment combines mountain grit with lakeside views, providing a setting for both competitive and recreational participants.
