NSCCL round 2 - Stafford Common
This event is round 2 of the North Staffs Cross Country League and takes place on 17 Oct 2026. NSCCL runs traditional cross country courses in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire and comprises four league races.
Scoring is based on finishing position for both team and individual competitions. Scores from all four races count in all age groups; senior individual scores use all four races, while age groups under 17 count their best three of four. Senior men and women are split into two divisions with the bottom two teams in Division 1 relegated and the top two teams in Division 2 promoted.
Entrants must be first claim members of an affiliated club; guest runners are not permitted. Club colours must be worn by club members. Age categories are calculated from date of birth and determined by age on 31st August. For Under 11s, competitors must be at least nine years old on race day.
Team counting requirements vary by category: three to count for under 11s/13s/15s/17s; senior Division 1 six to count for men and four for women; senior Division 2 four to count for both sexes; vets over 35 six to count for men and four for women; vets over 50 four to count for both sexes.
